Important Community Reminder: Safety, Respect, and Responsibility

We have received several reports of unsupervised children in the pool area, climbing or jumping over gates, jumping on and damaging pool furniture, and breaking pool-gate handles by stepping on them to climb over.  Children under 15 years of age must be supervised by an adult in the pool and lake areas. Violating this rule is a finable offense and, more importantly, a serious safety concern. Repeated repairs and replacements also create expenses that are ultimately shared by all homeowners.

Parents, please speak with your children about respecting our community property and what it means to be a considerate neighbor. We are also disappointed when adult residents choose not to follow community rules. Adults have a responsibility to set a positive example for their children and neighbors. Please remember:

• Feeding geese or other wildlife is prohibited and may result in substantial fines.

• Front yards must be properly maintained. Failure to do so is a finable offense, regardless of the circumstances. Neglected yards can negatively affect the appearance and value of neighboring homes and our entire community.

• Pool and lake rules must be followed at all times. Gates needs to be closed at all times.

Please do your part, take responsibility for your household.
